Autism Housing Pathways is where it all started; I was trained through this Massachusetts nonprofit in Person-Centered Planning. Staying true to my origins, I continue to provide planning services to AHP members for a discounted price and to recipients of AHP’s housing grant (provided by the Developmental Disabilities Council).
If you or child is affected by autism, I encourage you to become a member of Autism Housing Pathways. The information and resources that AHP provides are critical to families who have a vision of affordable, safe, creative housing situations for their loved ones with autism and other intellectual disabilities. www.autismhousingpathways.org
Special Needs Companies is the heart project of my friend and colleague, Attorney Annette Hines. Annette has both personal and professional experience, is an author and leader in the disability community. Her vision is to develop a suite of services that encompasses everything from legal support to emotional, advocacy, networking, mentoring and other supports for the lifespan. I regularly guest host her podcast, Parenting Impossible. Please join the growing list of members on Annette’s Facebook page, Circle of Care – Special Needs Families, Caretakers, Advocates and Friends.
